Vocalise Africa partners with Mwanzo Theatre Group in addressing social issues within the Refugee camp. Based in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Mwanzo Theatre Group consists of young refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia and Somalia . The Group uses creative Art such as Theatre and Radio drama to educate, entertain and transform communities on social challenges such as creating awareness on harmful cultural practices, ending gender-based violence (GBV) and highlighting the importance of integration and peacebuilding, among other important issues.
