Remmy Badodo is a Youth Refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He is the Team Leader for Mwanzo Theatre Group, a dynamic talent group consisting of young refugees and host community members currently based in Kakuma Refugee Camp. As a talented scriptwriter, he plays a pivotal role in crafting engaging and impactful stories that not only engage audiences but also educate and entertain the community. Under his leadership, the group continues to thrive on day to day as it addresses critical social issues such as peacebuilding, gender-based violence, and drug abuse, using the transformative power of theatre to inspire change and unity within the camp and host community.
