Oscar Mudega is the Executive Director of Vocalise Africa. He has a distinguished background in Journalism, Communications, and Media Production. His career spans across the mainstream media and humanitarian sector. He has strong passion in initiatives aimed at promoting local development and enhancing communities’ access to education and livelihoods; and has implemented donor projects in Kenya and Somalia. He is particularly committed to nurturing youth talent and harnessing the power of Creative Arts and Interactive Radio as tools for social transformation, learning and meaningful community engagement. Through his work, he continues to promote innovative, community-centred approaches that amplify local voices and contribute to positive social change. Oscar holds a Master’s degree in Information Sciences from the University of Nairobi.
