Stephen Gicheha is the Radio Programmes Officer at Vocalise Africa. With over 10 years experience working in Community Broadcasting Media in both Kenya and Uganda, he has mastered the art of engaging audiences through story telling. He has worked in Kakuma and Kalobeyei in programs aimed at promoting inclusion of marginalized groups and enhancing communities’ participation in livelihood and education opportunities. Stephen envisions the ability of the people to tell their own stories in their own language using easily accessible community media channels. His career goal is to help communities, marginalized groups and authorities to find lasting solutions to issued impacting communities. He also has vast experience working in Humanitarian Emergencies and managing complex projects.
